Chef Richard Ekkebus' at 58 Degree Grill, Shanghai China
/Second time dining with the charming and kind Chef Richard Ekkebus this month! Two weeks ago in Bangkok at Gaggan's casual bistro Meatlicious. Tonight at his elegant 58 Degree Grill at the Mandarin Oriental Shanghai. We had a beautiful meal including Norwegian scallops, Mediterranean swordfish, and an incredible steak from Blackmore Ranch in Victoria, Australia which I will visit next month to meet David Blackmore and have a meal on the ranch. Congratulations to Chef Ekkebus: Amber in HK was crowned #3 on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list last month!
